Key Responsibilities
- Design & Documentation: Develop floor plans, elevations, renderings, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Sketch Up (Revit a plus). Maintain MMC drafting standards.
- Client Management: Lead clients through design phases—managing scope, timelines, budget expectations, and approvals with professionalism and clear communication.
- Technical & Compliance: Ensure designs meet municipal codes, HOA requirements, and internal buildability standards. Collaborate with engineering and field teams to resolve design issues proactively.
- Team
Collaboration:
Partner with Pre-Design, Interiors, Construction, and Purchasing to align on project milestones, materials, and vendor standards. - Process & Leadership: Maintain training materials, support process improvements, and mentor team members as needed.
- 5+ years residential architecture experience (design-build preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up; working knowledge of residential construction methods and detailing.
- Strong aesthetic sense, presentation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of permitting, zoning, and Wisconsin building codes (preferred).
- Degree in Architecture or related field.
$80,000–$95,000/year + benefits + performance bonus.
