Location: Delafield near Milwaukee or Madison, WI (In-Office)
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

The Architect (RA) will lead the design, documentation, and coordination of high-end residential projects from concept through construction. This role combines design creativity, technical expertise, and client engagement
, ensuring each home meets the company’s standards for quality, buildability, and an exceptional client experience.
This individual will report to the Head of Design and may take on a lead role depending on experience

Design & Documentation
- Design and develop custom luxury homes aligned with the company’s architectural vision
- Produce floor plans, elevations, renderings, and construction documents
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to internal drafting standards
- Balance aesthetic vision with functionality, budget, and constructability
Client Management
- Lead clients through the design process with professionalism and creativity
- Manage expectations related to scope, timeline, and budget
- Conduct design meetings and secure approvals at key milestones
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with zoning, permitting, HOA, and municipal requirements
- Review engineering, truss layouts, and construction documentation
- Support field teams with design clarifications and problem-solving
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor team members and support internal drafting standards
- Coordinate with Interior Design, Construction, and Purchasing teams
- Contribute to process improvements and company-wide standards
- Manage project schedules and deliverables across departments
- Registered Architect (RA) Preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of residential architecture experience
- Strong experience in custom or semi-custom home design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Experience in a design-build environment
- Familiarity with Wisconsin permitting and building codes
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- High-end residential design sensibility
- Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-driven
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong cross-department integration
- High level of client interaction and relationship-building
