Job Summary
Professional Land Surveyor to join our Geotechnical team. Responsible for field surveys, data reduction, digital terrain modeling, and preparation of right-of-way plats, certified survey maps, and boundary surveys across various project types.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the completion of field surveys on a variety of project types.
- Assist with data reduction, digital terrain modeling/surface creation, and preparation of right-of-way plats, certified survey maps, and boundary surveys.
- Interact with clients, contractors, and junior surveyors.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- PLS License in the state of Wisconsin.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to walk and climb over rough terrain, carry up to 50 pounds, and work outside up to 8–12 hours in varying temperatures.
- Ability to travel as needed for projects, team meetings, and overnight stays to support out-of-town work.
- Ten (10) or more years of field and/or office survey experience.
- Experience in basic surveying procedures including boundary/land surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking methods using Total Stations and GPS.
- Experience in drafting, completing computations, and an understanding of plans and easement descriptions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Field experience with Trimble Survey Equipment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro Station, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Additional RequirementsThis position requires an MVR records check verifying that the candidate possesses a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.

Compensation & BenefitsBase compensation is expected to be in the range of $100,000 to $132,000 based on skill set and experience.
