Job Details
We are a fast‑growing manufacturing organization seeking a highly skilled and motivated AutoCAD Electrical Control Designer. This permanent position is for a seasoned professional with strong experience in the engineering industry, manufacturing processes, NEC, and UL 508A standards.
Responsibilities
Design and develop complex electrical control systems using AutoCAD.Apply knowledge of NEC and UL 508A standards to ensure design compliance.Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget deliverables.Create and maintain templates for future projects to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.Configure technical specifications for automation and control systems.Produce detailed, accurate drawings that guide the manufacturing process.Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost‑effective.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Allen‑Bradley and Rockwell systems.Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to stay abreast of industry developments.Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in a similar engineering role.Proven expertise in AutoCAD and electrical control design.Extensive knowledge of NEC and UL 508A standards.Experience managing projects and producing high‑quality deliverables.Proficiency in creating and maintaining templates to streamline workflow.Strong technical configuration skills, particularly in automation and control systems.Ability to produce detailed, accurate drawings for manufacturing.Hands‑on troubleshooting skills for Allen‑Bradley and Rockwell systems.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with strong attention to detail.Preferred:
