Lutheran Social Services seeks a Part-Time Support Staff member to assist our healthcare and social assistance programs serving individuals and families in need. In this client-facing role, you'll help with intakes, scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day support for behavioral health, housing, and family services. You will maintain accurate records, coordinate communication, and promote a safe, welcoming environment. Working within a mission-driven, faith-based, and client-centered culture, you'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and contribute directly to meaningful, values-based community impact.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client support in behavioral health, housing, or family services programs as assigned
  • Assist with intakes, scheduling, documentation, and basic follow-up with clients
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Support program activities, group sessions, and workshops as directed by professional staff
  • Coordinate communication between clients, families, and service providers
  • Monitor client needs and report concerns or changes in status to supervisors
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all clients
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Uphold LSS mission, values, and policies in all client interactions
