Job Title

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting and financial reporting team.
• Lead month-end close processes and ensure journal entry accuracy.
• Review business transactions for GAAP compliance.
• Manage Accounts Payable and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review reconciliations and Accounts Receivable responses.
• Build presentation-ready decks for senior leadership.
• Gather data, present, and explain financial statement variances.
• Analyze operations, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements.
• Respond to ad hoc financial and operational analysis requests.
• Understand user needs and deploy resources for solutions.
• Lead/support complex, cross-functional process improvements.
• Ensure high-quality analytical output.
• Handle other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications (Technical, Functional, Behavioral Skills):

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years in management; strong accounting background including month-end close reviews.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting policy knowledge; advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Functional
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong business process and data analysis;
  Accounts Payable management; balance sheet reconciliations.
• Behavioral
  
  Skills:
  
  Leadership of high-performing teams; cross-functional collaboration; detailed user need assessment; high-quality output delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• FP&A experience.
• Relational database concepts understanding.
• SQL query writing skills.
• MAcc or CPA.

Additional Notes:

• Healthcare/Laboratory experience beneficial.
