We are seeking a Finance Manager for a Hybrid position in DeLand, FL.
SummaryThe Finance Manager (Lab) plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making within a high-performance analytics environment. Based in DeLand, FL, this hybrid position leads a dedicated team responsible for financial reporting, operational analytics, and strategic business insights. The ideal candidate will oversee critical financial processes, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis, while delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
By leveraging advanced analytics, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration, the Finance Manager ensures data accuracy, process efficiency, and alignment with business objectives across sales, operations, and corporate teams. This role is essential to maintaining financial integrity, supporting strategic growth, and enabling scalable performance across the organization.
- Lead and manage a team of accounting, financial reporting, and data analytics professionals based in DeLand, FL
- Develop and deliver presentation-ready financial and operational dashboards for senior leadership
- Gather, analyze, interpret, and communicate key financial and operational metrics with clear insights
- Conduct in-depth profitability, pricing, and contract analysis to support strategic business decisions
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate operational capacity, performance, and financial outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement through cross-functional process optimization initiatives
- Coordinate and oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prioritize and delegate team workloads to maintain high-quality, timely deliverables
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from sales, operations, and corporate leadership
- Ensure rigorous quality assurance across all analytical outputs and reporting deliverables
- Collaborate with field and corporate teams to align financial strategies with business goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Finance
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA, or MAcc preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in finance, analytics, or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in financial systems, reporting, and data analysis
- Proven ability to design and implement complex financial models for pricing, profitability, and operational performance
- Proficiency in report-writing tools such as COGNOS or Crystal Reports
- Intermediate-level SQL query writing skills and understanding of relational database structures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Six Sigma certification or training considered a strong advantage
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a flexible, hybrid work environment with occasional on-site presence required (2 days onsite, 3 days remote weekly)
