Director of Finance
Advent Health DeLand in DeLand, FL is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee the preparation of operating budgets, capital budgets, and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of operating budgets, capital budgets, and regulatory reporting.
- Create tools and reports that transform data into insight for executive and operational management to control costs, manage change, and improve performance.
- Develop and implement human systems to manage expenses and capital relative to hospital revenues and the overall budget.
- Ensure transparent management of expenses and capital in relation to hospital revenues and budget.
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or in a related role.
- Or a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with internal control functions, cost report preparation, and auditing.
- Supervisory or project‑management experience.
- Experience with mainframe accounting and budgeting systems.
