Housekeeping Aide

Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation of DeLand is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work with our Housekeeping Staff. The candidate should have experience in a similar position and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

As a Housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facility rooms are clean and well-maintained. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure that facility needs are met promptly.

• Clean rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards and procedures
• Perform deep cleaning of rooms including carpets and upholstery
• Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance team
• Restock supplies in rooms and public areas
• Dispose of trash and recycling properly
• Follow all safety and security procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous housekeeping experience required
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
