Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress Upholster to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing upholstery for aircraft interiors. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of precision and attention to detail. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and sew fabric and leather to create custom upholstery pieces for aircraft seats, headliners, and other interior components
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn upholstery on existing aircraft interiors
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in upholstery, preferably in aircraft interiors
  • Proficient in using sewing machines and other upholstery tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and safety protocols is an asset
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site position at our facility. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. The candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
