Production Associate

Production Associate - Machine Operator- 2nd Shift 7pm-7am.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

General labor support of plant operations and housekeeping requirements.

• Place raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process, package finished products, and organize them for shipment. Perform checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production.
• Hand stack and palletize finished goods in preparation for customer shipment.
• Maintain case sealer (top and bottom tape dispensers).
• Monitor and correct case palletizer as needed.
• Control loss of product and packaging.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as grease and lubrication application, in preventive care of equipment.
• Execute housekeeping tasks to meet organizational requirements and maintain workspace efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conform to and promote Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (SandGMPs) throughout the operation and participate in the company safety programs.
• Adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events with calmness under pressure.
• Follow policies and procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
• Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Possess required skills and knowledge and meet the physical demands described below.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

• Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one situations to managers and supervisors.
• Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
