Description:

Coastline Power Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and support machinery. This role ensures that all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production flow. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate testing of customer-supplied and third-party equipment, enabling us to deliver turnkey solutions for critical applications across the U.S. and internationally — including government agencies, the military, emergency services, hospitals, data centers, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment including CNC plasma machines, 14' press brakes, 14' shears, welding machines, compressors, and forklifts.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Conduct repairs on motors, pumps, bearings, chains, conveyors, and other plant systems.
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate logs, PM checklists, and repair records.
  • Support building maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize repairs.
  • Assist with installation and relocation of equipment.
  • Follow Coastline safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and bending.
  • Ability to work in heat, dust, noise, and industrial environments.
  • Occasional overtime for urgent repairs.
