MAINTENANCE in DeLand

Key Result Area:

Perform maintenance services to ensure a smooth-running operation.

• Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
• Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
• Willing to participate in ALL4
  
  Zero Safety Program.
• Maintain preventive maintenance in accordance with a daily checklist and adjustments to the plant equipment and machinery.
• Perform mechanical repairs on batching equipment, unloading equipment, rolling stock and company vehicles.
• Perform all mechanical and electrical tasks.
• Fabrication and welding as needed for production and special projects.
• Perform routine maintenance within the site (changing light bulbs, ballast, etc.).
• Perform minor construction repairs, valve replacements, outlets changed.
• Perform plumbing repairs.
• Perform major electrical tasks including electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and electrical repairs.
• Change a/c filters (unless too time consuming, currently outsourced).
• Complete work orders and various other tracking devices.
• Responsible for housekeeping throughout plant’s areas.
• Adhered to safety and operational practices.
• Ability to work with teams and alone.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
• Able to work any shift.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Able to perform and understands LOTO processes and ensure the optimal procedures are followed for meeting company’s objectives.

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), 5+ years mechanical and electrical experience, experienced in PLCs.

• Strong mechanical background
• Strong electrical background
• High level of organizational skills
• Able to work at heights and possible heavy lifting.
• Can read and understand directions and goals set forth by the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor.
• Capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses.
