CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant Position
We are seeking certified nursing assistants (CNA) to join our wonderful team at Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Deland, FL. Compensation- Sign On Bonus: $2,000.
- Full Time: $1,000.

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist in creating a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents.
Requirements / Qualifications- Current Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the current state.
- Current/active CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong communication across all levels of the organization and teamwork.
- Customer‑service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.
- Provide personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) to residents daily and as needed.
- Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms regularly.
- Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
- Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake/output, food consumption, and other assigned data.
- Routinely turn and reposition residents as necessary.
- Observe residents closely and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse.
- Assist in collecting data for accurate completion of the MDS and plan of care.
- Provide adequate hydration to residents at regular intervals according to specific needs.
- Prepare residents for meals and transport them to dining areas, ensuring accessibility and assistance for those who cannot feed themselves.
- Maintain accurate records of food intake and output as directed.
- Monitor ventilation, temperature, light and noise control.
- Take TPR (temperature, pulse, rate), blood pressure, and weight as directed.
- Answer call lights promptly and assist with other resident needs.
- Assist in orientation and training of other staff when requested.
