Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist in creating a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents.

• Current Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the current state.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization and teamwork.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.

• Provide personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) to residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms regularly.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake/output, food consumption, and other assigned data.
• Routinely turn and reposition residents as necessary.
• Observe residents closely and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse.
• Assist in collecting data for accurate completion of the MDS and plan of care.
• Provide adequate hydration to residents at regular intervals according to specific needs.
• Prepare residents for meals and transport them to dining areas, ensuring accessibility and assistance for those who cannot feed themselves.
• Maintain accurate records of food intake and output as directed.
• Monitor ventilation, temperature, light and noise control.
• Take TPR (temperature, pulse, rate), blood pressure, and weight as directed.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with other resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff when requested.
