Quality Control Technician

Role Overview

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing incoming and in‑process inspection of materials and finished goods. This position reports to the Quality Manager and is part of the Quality Department located in Deland, FL and will be an on‑site role.

• Perform independent inspections of raw materials, incoming components, and finished products using various inspection gauges and visual inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards and maintain records.
• Control, maintain, and calibrate various measuring and test equipment (MT&E) while maintaining records.
• Assist with other tasks as required to support engineers in carrying out product‑related inspection tasks and ensure proper documentation and records are maintained.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret engineering prints, drawings, and specifications, apply requirements in various test and inspection activities, and have a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to use a range of basic test and measurement tools, including calipers, height gauges, micrometers, coordinated measuring machines (CMM), etc.

• Experience as a coordinated measuring machine (CMM) operator/programmer.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspection role.
