• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service.
• Direct customers to the proper area and provide general information as requested.
• Ring up all sales transactions on the cash register and complete sales.
• Ensure each customer receives the proper change and correct receipt for purchase.
• Follow all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card transactions, voids, gift cards, and the change Round Up program.
• Keep the register area clean and orderly at all times.
• Answer telephone calls promptly using an established etiquette procedure.
• Assist sales floor employees with stocking and recovery.

• Regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focusing ability.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail and/or cashiering experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of touch screen cash registers are required.
