Business Development / Sales Growth Professional

I am helping two established Florida companies identify strong business development talent for growth-focused sales roles in the Jacksonville and DeLand, Florida areas
.

These are not startup experiments. Both companies are proven, well-established, and offer high-value B2B products and services with strong gross margin potential. They have leadership teams that are investing in growth, improving sales systems, and looking for real sales professionals who can help open doors, build relationships, and create new revenue opportunities.

We are looking for people who are energized by prospecting, comfortable starting business conversations, and capable of turning outreach into qualified opportunities. The right person will be proactive, professional, coachable, competitive, and able to represent a strong company with confidence.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with targeted B2B prospects.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through calls, email, Linked In, networking, referrals, and in-person relationship building.
  • Research target accounts and uncover business needs, timing, decision-makers, and buying triggers.
  • Set meetings, lead discovery conversations, present solutions, and help move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline notes, follow-ups, and sales reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to turn client needs into strong proposals and long-term relationships.
  • Represent the company professionally in the local and regional business community.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven sales ability, especially in B2B business development, account growth, or consultative selling.
  • A hunter mindset — someone who does not wait for leads to magically fall from the sky.
  • Strong communication skills by phone, email, Linked In, and in person.
  • Confidence reaching business owners, executives, managers, and decision-makers.
  • Ability to learn a business, understand client problems, and position solutions clearly.
  • High follow-through, strong organization, and comfort using a CRM.
  • Positive energy, professionalism, accountability, and a genuine desire to win.
  • Experience selling technology, business services, print/mail, digital marketing, hardware, or other B2B solutions is a plus, but the right sales DNA matters most.
