Job OverviewThe Maintenance Technician performs preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment, including PLC and CNC machines, reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, is located in Deland, FL and will be an on‑site role. Knowledge of single and three‑phase industrial electricity and power distribution is required.
Work hours:
Sunday night through Friday morning, 11 PM to 7 AM plus overtime. Pay: $28–$35/hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential.
- Perform electrical repairs and installations following specifications from engineering and equipment manufacturers.
- Interface with operators to ensure production equipment readiness and performance.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent; knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance concepts.
- Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience at journeyman level; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of single and three‑phase industrial electricity and power distribution.
- Ability to climb, stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Working with steel microfibers.
- CNC, PLC and low voltage controls.
- Technical certificate, apprenticeship, or military equivalent.
