Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a PLC & Instrumentation Technician to join their team. As a PLC & Instrumentation Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Install, monitor, and repair PLC devices, including hardware and software components.
  • Support PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and other electronic systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, safety inspections, and parts inventory using CMMS systems.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school education preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or PLC systems.
  • State-certified electrician license and relevant certifications may be required.
  • Knowledge of PLC control systems, power distribution, sensors, and electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, ladder logic, and equipment specifications.
