Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a PLC & Instrumentation Technician to join their team. As a PLC & Instrumentation Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: PLC & Instrumentation Technician
Location: Deland, FL
Pay Range: $28-30/hour
Shift: Tues-Sat 6pm-2:30am
What's the Job?- Install, monitor, and repair PLC devices, including hardware and software components.
- Support PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and other electronic systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation, safety inspections, and parts inventory using CMMS systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school education preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or PLC systems.
- State-certified electrician license and relevant certifications may be required.
- Knowledge of PLC control systems, power distribution, sensors, and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, ladder logic, and equipment specifications.
