HVAC Installer (Residential & Light Commercial)

Deland, FL

Pay Range - $ 21 - $30 per hour

Schedule

7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday (Occasional weekends, overtime, and evenings may be required)

Primary Job Function

Install residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems to the highest company standards while providing an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (changeouts preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of various HVAC equipment types and installation best practices
  • Proficient in residential and light commercial installations
  • Familiar with equipment start-up, basic troubleshooting, line sets, brazing, and pressure testing
  • Solid understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and installation instructions
  • Skilled in running, insulating, and sealing ductwork
  • Thorough knowledge of current city and county installation codes
  • Current EPA 608 Certification
  • Own basic hand tools and commitment to maintaining them
  • Strong safety awareness and strict adherence to all safety protocols
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive, professional attitude
Qualifications Desired (but not required):
  • 3+ years of installation experience
  • NATE Certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain)
  • Well-organized with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic personality and positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to invest time in ongoing training and professional development

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
