Speech Pathologist
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available working with K-12 students in multiple schools across the Deland, FL area. This role offers the chance to provide specialized speech and language services in a dynamic educational setting during the current school year.
Responsibilities- Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized therapy plans for students
- Implementing evidence-based interventions to support communication skills
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust services as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with all state and district regulations
This position is based in the Volusia County area, servicing River Springs Middle School in Port Orange for four days per week and Enterprise Elementary in Enterprise/Deltona five days per week. The schedule consists of 37.5 hours weekly, with a commitment through June 5th, 2026.
Qualifications- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings highly preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads and communicate effectively with children and educational staff
