Position: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) |

Make a real difference in students lives while advancing your Speech‑Language Pathology career in vibrant Volusia County, Florida! Multiple school‑based positions are available for dedicated SLPs (CCC or Clinical Fellows CFs welcome, supervision provided) who are passionate about supporting K-12 learners. This is a contract opportunity where your positive impact will be felt every day across a range of school environments.

Openings are available for the  school year at several locations and schedules, including five‑day and part‑time positions at elementary, middle, and high schools. Specific roles include coverage for maternity leave and ongoing school support, beginning August 4, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027. With a full‑time schedule of about 37.5 hours per week, you’ll collaborate within a supportive educational team and help students reach their communication goals.

Key

Qualifications:

  • Current Florida SLP license required
  • ASHA CCC preferred; new grads completing CFY are encouraged to apply (supervision provided)
  • Experience working with severe‑profound populations, including proficiency with AAC systems
  • Commitment to onsite service (remote/virtual candidates and SLPAs are not being considered)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech‑language services to students across assigned schools
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
  • Maintain timely, detailed records and comply with state and district protocols
  • Participate in school‑based meetings and contribute to a team‑focused environment
