SANITATION HELPER – IMMEDIATE HIRE ($15/HR) – DAYTONA BEACH, FL

Immediate hiring. Reliable, punctual candidates who can start work immediately are required. Responsibilities include collecting garbage, recyclables, and yard waste from residential and commercial routes throughout Daytona Beach, properly handling waste materials, and maintaining clean streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces.

• Starting pay: $15.00/hr
• Overtime: $22.50/hr
• SIGN ON BONUS: $30.00 (after successful completion of required work period)
• REFERRAL BONUS: $30.00 per qualified referral (after referral completes required work period)
• Immediate hiring with consistent work schedules

• Education equivalent to 8th grade
• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds consistently
• Availability to work 4 ten‑hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as required
• Must be able to start immediately

Work involves heavy manual labor in the collection and disposal of garbage, recyclables, and yard debris. Employees operate as part of a sanitation crew servicing Daytona Beach routes and perform tasks under the direction of the truck driver or crew leader. Duties require continuous physical activity, exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and handling of waste materials.

• Collect garbage, recyclables, and yard waste from residential neighborhoods and commercial locations in Daytona Beach
• Perform curbside collection and disposal duties along assigned routes
• Use hand tools such as shovels and pitchforks to load waste materials
• Ride on sanitation trucks and assist with unloading at designated landfill or recycling facilities
• Support truck operator with basic vehicle checks including fuel and fluid levels
• Clean sanitation trucks and equipment daily after route completion
• Perform additional duties as required to support sanitation operations

• Ability to work in environments involving waste materials and strong odors
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions common to the Daytona Beach area
• Basic ability to use hand tools and follow safety procedures
