RENCONTRE 93

SAUO, Service d'Accueil d'Urgence et d'Orientation

RENCONTRE 93 implements a comprehensive education, multi-reception, and intergenerational project. It consists of seven educational services and a production kitchen. The SAUO is a service of RENCONTRE 93, this micro-structure welcomes 8 adolescents, 6 in a collective, 2 with a family assistant.

Job Description:

Under the authority of the head of service, the specialized educator:

• Participates in the welcoming of adolescents, contributes to the creation of a daily peaceful climate in the living place, and by establishing a positive educational relationship with the adolescents, he/she participates in the preparation of meals and daily tasks.
• Conducts an activity of listening, evaluation, education, and protection with the minors entrusted.
• Favors the maintenance of links with the family environment, the continuation of the school and/or professional project, sports activities, cultural activities...
• Accompanies the young people in their care procedures.
• Proposes educational activities and mediation.

The specialized educator registers his/her intervention in the project of the multidisciplinary team. He/she knows how to communicate his/her observations and the difficulties he/she encounters in the accompaniment.

• – Preparation of reports and notes.
• – Weekly meetings. Monthly supervision.
• – Participation in cross-functional instances of RENCONTRE 93.
