Rencontre 93 – School Workshop

Rencontre 93 implements a global education project, multi-reception and inter-generational. It consists of seven educational services and a production kitchen. The SCHOOL WORKSHOP is one of the services: a place of school remediation, it welcomes 30 young people from 12 to 17 years old in day placement, entrusted by the child welfare of Seine-Saint-Denis.

Job Description:

It welcomes on two sites, in Saint-Denis and Livry-Gargan, 30 adolescents (girls and boys) disenrolled from 12 to 17 years old, in day placement.

In Livry-Gargan, within a team of 5 school, sports and cultural educators, the E.S. animates and participates in the actions of mediations implemented individually or collectively (plastic arts, horse riding, theater, street art, sports activities, music…) and school learnings (remediation, sensitivity to alternative pedagogical methods appreciated).

The interventions are individualized and alternate with collective times. Multidisciplinary team work and with partners is preferred. Participation in pedagogical trips. Occasional interventions in Saint-Denis. The E.S participates in the elaboration and implementation of the personalized project of each young person according to the educational missions of the service. Work with families. Participation in professional writings. Administrative work related to educational missions (management of the mailbox, appointment taking, etc.).

Sharing of workshops and projects with the Saint-Denis School Workshop site.

Skills:

Supervision and care of school remediation, competence in educational clinic, teamwork, workshop animation, and administrative skills.

Supervision skills in artistic mediations (individual and collective) and development of projects and partners in this field.

Educational principles: professional ethics, Do with/Do together, non-punitive/non-exclusive pedagogy.

Weekly meeting/monthly supervision. Participation in cross-cutting instances of Rencontre 93.
