The Traffic And Tunnel Control North (PCTT) which is part of the Traffic And Tunnels Service of the Roads Directorate of Île-de-France, is looking for its future collaborator as a technician of diagnosis and maintenance.

Placed under the authority of the deputy head of the PCTT North in charge of maintenance, the technician of diagnosis and maintenance (TDM) is in charge of the maintenance of equipment for the part concerning the national road network of Île-de-France (More than 10,000 equipment: 150 Variable Message Panels (VMP). 500 cameras, 200 ventilators, 2000 luminaires, 2000 sensors or detectors, 50 high voltage electrical transformers, 100 low voltage electrical panels).

The TDMs organize and control the preventive and curative interventions carried out by companies holding decomposed contracts by trades (variable message panels, ventilation systems in tunnels, energy installation, lighting).

Interventions are often carried out at night when the road is closed. The TDM may be required to perform up to 20 night shifts (10:00 PM - 4:00 AM) per year for interventions that require his/her presence on site. The TDM is placed on call for about 9 weeks per year. He/she then intervenes in case of an incident requiring immediate action, to ensure the safety of the tunnels and users.

The TDM is not a specialist in the technologies used, but he/she must control the operation of a wide variety of equipment. In case of an accident or malfunction of the equipment, the TDM makes a diagnosis and determines the relevant contractor to correct the anomalies. He/she is the preferred contact for specialized companies. After the intervention of a company, the TDM must verify the state of the installations, witness the work and follow up administratively the service (order form, report).

The TDM may be required to work in technical premises or on the roadway (in and out of operation) day or night. The position has operational constraints organized in the form of a schedule:
* posted work time in staggered hours (6:00 AM-10:00 PM), - posted morning from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM - posted afternoon from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
* on-call operations at night and on weekends,

This position is open to any competent candidate, whether civil servant or not. The recruitment of a non-civil servant candidate would be on a contractual basis, a priori for a 3-year contract (to be confirmed with the recruiter), after the absence of a suitable civil servant candidate (legal basis: 2° of article L.332-2 of the general code of the civil service of the State).

At the end of the 3-year contract, it is possible to continue in CDI or by another contract of 3 years, subject to the agreement of the parties.
