Médecins du Monde is looking for a project leader to join their team at the headquarters.

Médecins du Monde has been working for over 40 years to provide medical care to the most vulnerable populations, to denounce barriers to access to care, and to influence health policies for sustainable change.

At the headquarters, you support projects, accompany teams, and contribute to the quality and security of information systems that serve field operations.

The project leadership of infrastructure is part of a strategic project to standardize IT infrastructures on international missions, to secure access, improve the reliability of connections, and facilitate the work of field teams.

The foundations of the project are laid, but everything remains to be structured, decided, and deployed.

You will take charge of an international infrastructure project with a clear objective: to define a robust target solution, test it on pilot sites, and then organize and manage its progressive deployment across all relevant missions, in a multicultural and sometimes constrained context.

This is a project position, with a high level of expected autonomy and a deliberately flexible framework.

Pilot an end-to-end international infrastructure project

• Analyze field needs and consolidate the expression of needs
• Define the target architecture and infrastructure standards
• Identify, compare, and test technical solutions (PoC, pilot sites)

Coordinate internal and external project actors

• Work closely with IT, logistics, and field teams
• Identify and coordinate technical service providers
• Participate in technical and commercial exchanges with suppliers

Organize and monitor deployment on missions

• Plan deployment phases
• Anticipate and resolve operational blockages, especially in areas with limited IT resources
• Adapt solutions to local contexts (degraded connectivity, security constraints)

Structure project follow-up and visibility

• Implement indicators, dashboards, and monitoring tools
• Document technical choices and feedback
• Regularly report on progress and encountered constraints

You will work within the headquarters IT team, in direct contact with the service manager.

You will collaborate daily with IT teams, logistics teams, field representatives, and external providers.

Managerial and technical support is available, while allowing a high degree of autonomy in project management.
