Vos Missions En Quelques Mots
The publication in June 2023 of the climate-biodiversity and ecological transition plan[1] of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research translates notably into the obligation for all public institutions attached to it to produce by the end of 2024 a master plan for Sustainable Development and Societal and Environmental Responsibility. In this context, the University of Paris 8 has finalized its master plan .
It has also structured the governance of its policy of Ecological Transition and Sustainable Development (ETSD) by setting up a council of transitions and a center of transitions and ecological and social innovations. This center, attached to the director general of services, is composed of 5 people, it works in conjunction with the vice-president TIES and in transversal collaboration with all the services of the university.
Committed to a DD-RSE labeling process in 2026, the University of Paris 8 will also have to carry out its second greenhouse gas emissions balance (BEGES) in 2027. In this context, the project manager will contribute, in close collaboration with the director of ecological transitions and social innovations, to the operational implementation of the master plan and to the achievement of the objectives set.
OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MASTER PLAN DD&RSE
- Contribution to the implementation of the DD&RSE master plan of the establishment in conjunction with the director of CITIES.
- Contribution to the establishment of the environmental impacts linked to the activities of the University of Paris 8 (carbon balance, in particular of research units, waste management, digital practices,...) in conjunction with the political and administrative project managers for the DDRS labeling and the realization of the BEGES.
- Realization of a watch in the field of DD&RSE especially for the council of transitions - Development of information and awareness on environmental and societal issues among staff and students, in conjunction with the Directorate of Campus Life
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES FOR THE DD&RSE AXES
- Management and animation or support to the animation of the working groups constituted for each DD&RSE axis
- Animation and participation in the reflection at the level of the different services for an ethical, environmental and solidary policy in the management of the activities of the establishment. Internal and external links The project manager is placed under the hierarchical authority of the director of ecological transitions and social innovations and works in conjunction with the vice-president in charge of responsibilities and sustainable, social and solidarity innovations, and works with the Campus eco-responsible mission manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education bac+3 required; preferably a master's degree in RSE or equivalent experience.
