Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

This position will be based on-site at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Here's what you'll do (Under supervision and direction of Communications Specialist):

* Support management of internal communications platforms. Including but not limited to onsite tv's, bulletin boards, campus signage, and interactive touch screens

* Audit media platforms for current content and any errors that need resolution

* Create high-quality and engaging content across various channels

* Work closely with other departments to align content with overall communications and trade marketing strategies and campaigns

* Serve as administrator and producer on monthly company wide Webcasts

* Create and distribute trade marketing collateral, including promotional material, sell sheets, and digital content

* Prepare and organize promotional materials, product samples, and event supplies

* Assist in planning, organizing, and executing trade shows, expos, and industry events

* Administrative duties as assigned to support Communications and Trade Marketing team

Qualifications

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

* High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

* Must be 18 years of age or older

* Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Self-directed and able to work autonomously

* Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
