• Schedule:
  
  Thursday‑Monday, 5:45 am–2:15 pm (6 months; orientation 2 weeks, flexible)
• Pay: $50 / hr as traveler (gross $2,000 / week) or $44 / hr as local (gross $1,760 / week)

• Valid California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing license.
• Minimum one year of experience as a licensed professional.

• Organize, provide, and maintain healthcare services consistent with CCHCS policies and procedures.
• Conduct basic hygiene and nursing care, including administration of prescribed medications and therapeutic treatments.
• Collect patient status information and report findings to the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or RN promptly.
• Provide patient/youth education and document care accurately in the approved format, carrying out physician orders.
• Administer or assist with therapeutic measures and treatments.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing as ordered.
• Assist the RN and PCP with clinic appointments (e.g., physical exams, minor surgeries, casting, identifying minor illnesses).
• Assist mental health professionals with treatment planning and formal evaluation of patient/youth progress by monitoring and recording observed behavior.
• Participate in training patients/youth in activities of daily living and assist with routine treatments.
• Document nursing care, treatments, and patient/youth response to facilitate continuity of care and communication with other providers.
