Position Summary
Provides nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs, adhering to standards, physician orders, policies, and regulations.
Qualifications- Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in nursing management preferred but not required
- Follows procedures for charting, incident reporting, narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
- Documents patient condition changes such as nutritional issues, infections, skin conditions, or weight loss
- Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring
- Records and communicates room changes, admissions, discharges, and leave of absence
- Participates in rounds with physicians when necessary
