Obstetrics And Gynecology Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care to obstetrics and gynecology patients, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment according to established standards. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes to adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate care activities efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology nursing.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal heart monitoring and other specialty procedures.
• Be committed to providing quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
