Registered Nurse – OB​/GYN

$2692.80/week –

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients, ensuring high-quality and patient-centered treatment. Leads and supervises nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administers direct patient care based on current standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans for OB/GYN patients.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to nursing personnel ensuring proper implementation of care.
• Coordinates with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients, and families to facilitate effective treatment.
• Monitors patient progress and evaluates outcomes to adjust care strategies accordingly.
• Educates patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and preventive care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in OB/GYN or related field.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM).
• Successful completion of AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
• EPIC experience preferred.
