The Stocker is responsible for transporting, stocking, and displaying grocery merchandise, as well as assisting in departments such as beer, dairy, deli, frozen foods, and general merchandise when needed.

Stockers also support eCommerce by selecting and preparing customer orders for curbside pickup. This role ensures product freshness, accuracy, and presentation while maintaining

Vallarta’s standards for safety, sanitation, and customer service.

• Smile and greet all customers and team members; deliver extraordinary service using Vallarta’s six steps.
• Practice and model Vallarta’s Core Values: customer service, commitment, integrity, respect, humility, and teamwork.
• Transport, stock, and display grocery merchandise according to company standards.
• Select and pack eCommerce customer orders with accuracy and care, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Read and follow order notes; contact customers about substitutions if needed.
• Bag groceries per company procedures and deliver orders to vehicles.
• Assist with building andmaintainingstore displays and signage.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and pull out-of-code products.
• Handle merchandise carefully to minimize damage and shrink.
