Description
Join our team as a Seasonal Front Desk Agent and serve as the face of the resort, creating a positive first and last impression for every guest. In this fast-paced, guest-focused role, you’ll handle check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations and billing, and provide exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hospitality, problem-solving, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Position Details- Employment Type: Seasonal
- Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)
- Department: Front Office / Guest Services
- Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner during arrival and departure
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Handle all forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and room charges
- Assign guest rooms and manage room inventory and availability
- Enter and retrieve guest information, reservations, and billing details using property management systems
- Provide information about resort amenities, services, rates, and special packages
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
- Assist guests with directions, reservations, and special accommodations
- Maintain accurate records, including registration cards, receipts, and reports
- Prepare, run, and distribute daily reports as needed
- Monitor and maintain front desk supplies, brochures, and materials
- Ensure security of guest information, room keys, and cash drawers; balance and verify cash at end of shift
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when appropriate
- Follow all safety, emergency, and resort procedures
- Support overall front office operations and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service, front desk, or hospitality experience preferred (not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a strong guest service mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent use of hands for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as data entry and phone use
- Fast-paced front desk environment within a busy resort setting
- Frequent interaction with guests, team members, and management
- Primarily indoor setting with consistent guest traffic
- Requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods
- Multitasking environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
