Job Overview

Machinist 1st & 2nd shift – Delavan, WI. Candidates with limited experience, but strong mechanical aptitude and the right attitude are encouraged to apply!

Role involves setting up and running CNC lathes or mills on castings, precision measurement, tooling, fixturing, maintenance, and production operations.

• Handle full CNC setups including tooling, work holding, fixturing and loading programs.
• Operate CNC equipment, manual machines, overhead hoists, hand tools, power tools, air tools, and fractometer.
• Use precision measuring gauges (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks) to check dimensions.
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T concepts.
• Make offsets and minor edits to keep parts within tolerance.
• Maintain coolant ratios and levels and perform autonomous maintenance tasks.
• Perform operations such as face, turn, bore, chamfer, groving, threading, drilling, tapping, and deburring on a variety of materials and parts.

• 3+ years of CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read and interpret GD&T and shop math.
• Ability to multitask and keep production running smoothly.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, twist at waist, lift, and lower up to 50 lbs.

Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 lbs.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Monday – Friday (8% shift differential).

Hourly pay ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, DOE. 8% shift differential for 2nd shift. Opportunity for rate increase with proficiency and training.
