Molder Machine Operator B 1st shift

Job Summary

As a Molding Machine Operator (1st shift) at Pentair’s Delavan, WI plant, you will operate plastic injection‑molding presses to produce high‑quality components. You will perform primary and secondary operations, conduct in‑process quality checks, and support floor operations.

• Operate injection‑molding presses to mold components, including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part from the press.
• Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, minor assembly, and packaging.
• Conduct in‑process quality checks (visual checks, run‑out) and communicate non‑conformances to Molding technical staff.
• Support floor operations such as resin swapping, automatic press operation, and operator breaks.
• Prepare productivity and quality audit reports.

• Team‑player; ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience operating injection‑molding presses.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, air tools, sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders.

Light work frequently, medium work frequently. Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lb. without a lift assist.

1st shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm, Monday – Friday. Overtime as needed (after shift or Saturdays).

Hourly pay: $18.00 – $20.00. Rate increase possible after proficiency and training.
