This position involves assembling, testing, and packaging 4” submersible pumps, and leading a team of up to 20 people.

• Perform assembly operations to produce a variety of utility-type pumps, including assembling a pump from the 1st station to the last station, electrical connections, and decal application.
• Own quality production of pumps with your team through standard work adherence.
• Manage a team of up to 20 individuals.
• Present at daily MDI meetings for prior day metrics.
• Efficiently prioritize staffing daily and throughout the shift.
• Ensure the team works safely every day.
• Create RCCMs for safety incidents as well as production misses.
• Understand a metric and adjust accordingly based on what the metric shows.
• Perform hourly/bi-hourly audits or checks throughout the shift, including playbook auditing.
• Follow leader standard work on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Associate's degree or coursework toward a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• ERP system experience (SAP, MFG, PRO, M2K).
• MS Office Suite experience.
• Prior leadership and training experience desired.
• Demonstrated problem solving and initiative to meet targets or project goals.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing methodologies and/or continuous improvement.
• Experience creating and utilizing basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

Standing, walking, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.

1st Shift: 5:00am - 2:15pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime as needed (after shift or on weekends).

The hourly pay for this role is $24.00 to $30.00/hr, DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and training completion. Actual pay may vary based on factors including achievements, skills, and experience.
