Job Description Machinist 2nd Shift - Delavan, WI

** HIRING BONUS**

We have an opportunity for a Machinist to join our Delavan, WI team. You will set up, gauge, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills, including full tooling and fixturing setup, precision measurement, and machining operations to maintain tight tolerances. Candidates with limited experience, but strong mechanical aptitude and the right attitude are encouraged to apply!

• Handle full CNC setups to include tooling, work holding, fixturing and loading programs
• Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools and fractometer
• Know how to use precision measuring gauges to include calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks etc. to check dimensions
• Read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Make offsets and minor edits to keep parts in tolerance
• Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform autonomous maintenance tasks
• Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, grove, thread, drill, tap, and deburr a variety of materials and parts

• 3+ years of CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience, preferred but not required
• Must have GD&T and print comprehension and understand shop math
• Must be able to multi-task to keep production running smoothly
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.

• 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday - Friday
• 8% shift differential for 2nd shift

The hourly pay for this role is: $28 to $30/hr doe. (8% shift differential for 2nd shift). Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Determination of pay rate may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

• $1000 Hiring Bonus - The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment. This amount will be subject to repayment in full if your employment with Pentair terminates at any time within one year of your hire date.
