The Facility Operations Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our Dealerships and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors. This role performs routine maintenance tasks, responds to repair requests, and supports preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, crack filling and seal coating parking lots.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

    Maintain clean and orderly work areas and common spaces.
  • Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in facility operations/building maintenance or a similar role.
  • Construction Laborer experience highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Basic computer skills for work order tracking and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to lift or carry over 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to listen and take direction.
  • Self Starter
Work Environment
  • Will require travel (possibly overnight) to our locations in WI, IL and IA.
  • Use of a company vehicle – requires a valid DL.
  • 8-hour shifts.
  • Ability to work overtime if required.
  • May require on-call availability for emergencies.
  • 60 day probationary period.

Compensation
  • $22.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
