Branch Skilled - Maintenance Technician

Position Title:

Maintenance Technician. Wage: $30.00-$38.00 per hour.

Shift: 1st.

Hours:

5:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Location:

Delavan, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity on the 1st shift.

Job

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, facility equipment, and support systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Perform machine installations, equipment adjustments, changeovers, and repairs
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Utilize electrical testing equipment, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and document completed work using CMMS systems
• Assist with equipment upgrades, improvements, and continuous improvement projects
• Perform inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery operation, and safety requirements
• Support facility maintenance activities, including basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs as needed
• Follow all OSHA, safety, quality, and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related technical field
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment repair
• Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial controls preferred
• Ability to use maintenance tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams
• Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
• Preferred technical degree or apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, HVAC, or a related field
• Preferred experience with CMMS maintenance systems
• Preferred welding, fabrication, machining, or HVAC experience
• Preferred experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, electrical equipment, noise, temperature variations, fumes, and other industrial conditions
• Must follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work around machinery and perform maintenance tasks safely
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong visual ability, including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
