PBF Energy is seeking General Service Electricians for their Delaware City Refinery. These professionals will handle troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in an industrial oil and chemical environment. The ideal candidates are experienced, safety-conscious, and able to work in physically demanding conditions as part of a team.

• Five (5) years’ experience in oil, chemical or petrochemical industries
• Completion of a trades school curriculum; apprentice/journeyman or in-house qualification program required
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair substation switch gear, PLCs, motors, lights, and more
• Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, and circuit connections
• Ability to read and interpret ladder logic and schematic drawings
• Proficiency with diagnostic and test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, megger)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Physically able to work on high structures, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather
• Pass written tests, assessments, physical skills demonstration, background check, and drug screening
• Basic computer skills

• Journeyman qualification preferred
