- Supervise a team of accountants, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and reviewing work for accuracy.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve team performance and ensure deadlines are met.
- Accounting Operations
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure proper classification of transactions and adherence to accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Monitor daily ledger postings and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Prepare or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Oversee bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable tracking, and fixed asset schedules.
- Support variance analysis and budget monitoring with detailed reports.
- Compliance & Audit
- Bachelor’s degree of commerce (CPA or CMA is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, ERP systems (Odoo) and advanced Excel
. - Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
