The Administrative Support Specialist supports PATHS’ mission by providing administrative and operational support from our Newark, Delaware office
. This role is responsible for coordinating office activities, maintaining records, supporting internal departments, managing communications, and assisting with day-to-day business operations. The Administrative Support Specialist contributes to efficient organizational performance through strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service, and effective administrative coordination while supporting PATHS’ commitment to delivering outstanding service to healthcare clients.
This position serves as an important resource for the Newark office, helping to ensure smooth office operations through administrative support, document management, scheduling assistance, communication coordination, and general office support functions. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to PATHS team members and departments operating from the Newark, DE office
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office correspondence
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems while ensuring document accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, conference rooms, and office events
- Prepare, update, and distribute reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other administrative documents
- Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and coordinate ordering as needed
- Enter, update, and maintain information in company databases and internal systems
- Support onboarding, administrative projects, and department initiatives as assigned
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Complete all required initial PATHS training (HIPAA, compliance, security, and role‑specific workflows) within onboarding timelines
- Participate in required ongoing training and demonstrate the ability to retain and apply new knowledge
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- One to two (1–2) years of administrative, clerical, office support, or customer service experience preferred
