Career Nanny Wanted In Nassau, The Bahamas

A loving family of four in Nassau, The Bahamas is seeking a kind and caring career nanny to join their team and help care for their daughter aged 3-years and son aged 2-months. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm, with the occasional Saturday when required. This is currently a live-out position but the family may move in the near future and a nanny flat could then be provided.

This is a fluid, and collaborative role with two very involved parents who work from home, so, the candidate must be excellent at "reading a room"—knowing exactly when to step in to engage with the children and when to step back to give the family space. The family prioritize a loving, present, and positive environment, and aim to raise their children with a positive and abundant mindset while establishing gentle, healthy boundaries.

The ideal candidate will be an extension of themselves—and they want the nanny to feel like part of the family. The position is to start by August 1, 2026. (With flexibility for the right candidate)

• All aspects of childcare including mealtime and hygiene routines
• Preparing meals and assisting with the weaning process when ready
• Attending and organizing developmentally appropriate activities and classes
• Encourage one-on-one play, reading, sensory play, etc.
• Travel with the family as needed - they typically travel between 1-3 months to Canada during the summer
• Packing and preparing for travel

The role is primarily for a nanny with flexibility for light housekeeping - loading/unloading the dishwasher, help with the children's laundry, (helping with the parents laundry would be a plus), help with any errands, etc. The family also have a housekeeper once a week

• British or European passport holders would be highly desired
• French or Spanish speaking would be a plus
• A background or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is highly preferred.

• Travel with the family when required - international and domestic
• Travel ready passport
• Fluent English speaking
• Driver's license (a car is provided when working)
• To want longevity in the role and grow with the family

• $85K per year, inclusive of housing stipend, £1K per month (with a Bahamian Residence the salary is tax-free)
• Family will obtain a work permit which will include residence in The Bahamas for the duration of employment

• Accommodation will be provided when traveling with the family
