Verdantas is seeking a talented Field Technician to join our team in the Wilmington, DE office. This hands-on role focuses on supporting field operations, ensuring quality and compliance across a variety of infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do:

Perform quality control review and testing for construction projects

Review activities and provide oversight on a variety of construction projects within the fields of geotechnical engineering and construction

Field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, concrete masonry, and steel construction

Review, understand, and interpret project plans and specifications, shop drawings, product data, and RFIsCompletion of field documentation in a timely manner, such as job safety analysis (JSA) forms, project field reports, field notes, soil, concrete, and asphalt datasheets, monitoring, and chain-of-custody forms

Recordkeeping and maintenance of testing equipment

Additional tasks may include laboratory testing of soils and concrete

Operate and maintain company vehicles

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent1 or more years of experience with collecting soil, concrete, groundwater, or other construction material samples1 or more years working in construction

Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment

Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances

Must have a valid driver's license

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $20.00 an hour, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and licensing status
