Customer Service Representative II Evening Shift - Newark

Schedule:

Evening Shift

• Answer and manage incoming calls to the main telephone numbers for Christiana Care hospital campuses.
• Respond to all emergency (911) phone lines and follow established procedures for more than 20 emergency medical code notifications, including:
  Code Blue Trauma Alert/Code Heart Alert/Code Code Delta Internal Emergency notifications
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, caregivers, and the public.
• Answer TTY calls and provide assistance to members of the community.
• Assess emergency calls and dispatch information appropriately according to policies and procedures.
• Provide directions and facility information to patients, visits, and community members.
• Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience required. Previous call center experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24 This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
