The Dental Hygienist plays a critical role in delivering outstanding patient care by providing licensed hygiene services, educating patients, and leading the non‑surgical periodontal program in partnership with the doctor. This role is perfect for a hygienist who values excellence, efficiency, and meaningful patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain long‑term, trusted relationships with patients
- Review, verify, and document patient health histories
- Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and recommended treatments
- Perform clinical hygiene procedures including:
- Diagnostic digital X‑rays
- Blood pressure screening
- Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
- Non‑surgical periodontal therapy
- Co‑diagnosis of restorative treatment with the doctor
- Assess patient needs and provide sealants, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as appropriate
- Help create a positive, comfortable, and high‑energy patient experience every day
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current dental hygiene license in the state of employment
- Active OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control certifications
- Comfortable working with modern dental software and digital workflows
