This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Designer role based in Bethany Beach, DE. The Architectural Designer will develop and refine residential design concepts, prepare architectural drawings, and translate client requirements into functional, code‑compliant plans. Responsibilities include creating detailed construction drawings, collaborating with clients and teammates on the project design and selections, and coordinating with civil and structural engineers. The role involves reviewing site conditions, integrating local zoning and permitting requirements, and adjusting designs based on client feedback and field conditions.

The Architectural Designer will also assist with material selections, design presentations, and occasional client meetings to communicate design solutions clearly and professionally.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a focus on residential projects.
• Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and detailed Drawing sets suitable for permitting and construction.
• Experience with CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and basic 3D visualization tools.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and residential construction methods.
• Excellent spatial thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field preferred, but not required.
• 2 years of relevant design and/or drafting experience required.
• Experience in custom home design or high‑end residential projects is preferred.
